ETA Transit Systems was founded in 2003 to take advantage of industry's growing interest in, and use of, Transit ITS communications solutions based upon open architecture. Many transit agencies use GPS-based information and vehicle management systems, and many of these systems have either a proprietary architecture or one that is less than open. This makes it difficult - at best - to maintain, upgrade, or re-procure systems and increases life cycle costs.

ETA Transit Systems has extensive experience in the development, deployment and maintenance of GPS-based and other information solutions. We can take your existing system and extend it for compatibility with the next generation of new, open-architecture solutions. This saves you money and at the same time charts a clear migration path toward new solutions. We will work with you to deploy and maintain a true open-architecture solution that is Web-hosted, scalable, and easily upgradable.
